Live Video
Thunderbird Raceway has partnered with Races On The Web 24/7 (www.RacesOnTheWeb.com) to be able to
broadcast our races LIVE each and every race night.
How Does It Work?
It's simple... If you have a relatively modern computer and a high speed internet connection (at least a DSL equivalent)
then you can watch our broadcasts! If you are stuck on a dial-up connection, then you will not be able to watch live
video because of the limited internet connectivity.
Testing to see if you can watch the video...
If you scroll down, you'll notice below is a video player. Click on the PLAY ICON (blue icon with the same symbol you
have on your home DVD player.). If you can see the video, then your already set and have the ability to watch our live
broadcasts and don't need to download any software.
If video doesn't play...
1.) Go to this link: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
2.) UNcheck the "Free McAfee® Security Scan Plus" box.
3.) Click the yellow "Agree and Install now" button.
4.) Follow the instructions for downloading (just like you were downloading a normal program off the internet).
5.) Once installed. Restart your computer and check back here to make sure the video now plays.
Note:
The video is designed for Internet Explorer 7 (or above) and FireFox 3.0 (or above).
Can I re-watch the video or save it to my computer?
Short answer, NO. LIVE streaming is just that, LIVE and you cannot rewind or slow motion the video. We do not
permit saving the video because of agreements we have with Races On The Web and they retain all rights to the video.
Certain video clips will be posted on this site and others (usually the whole event) will be posted on
RacesOnTheWeb.com. Video is NOT allowed to be copied and redistributed on video sharing websites (ie. YouTube.)
Does the video cost anything?
We STRONGLY encourage everyone to go to the racetrack and enjoy the races, however we understand there are
circumstances that prevent people from attending, so the video is the next best thing! So does it cost anything to
watch? Yes and No. We offer several events at no charge and provide a link to watch the video however there is no set
schedule for these "Free Viewings." Most of the time we will operate on a Pay Per View basis (like buying a PPV
movie through your cable/satellite provider). A link will be provided where you can use your credit or debit card and
purchase the Live Broadcast for that night for just a couple dollars. (Keep in mind that an acutal live event video quality
is far better quality than the video posted below. The video below is for testing purposes only.)
What happens if there is a cancellation of the racing event?
If in the unfortunate case of a cancellation before 5 races have been completed we will give a full refund. If more than 5
races have been completed then it will be considered a "Full Show" and no refunds issued. This is very similar to the
racetracks "Rain Check" policy.
If you have any questions about how the payment procedure works, request a refund, technical problems or general
questions / feedback please contact Verwayne at Races On The Web via E-Mail at: racesontheweb@gmail.com.
If you wish to contact the track directly concerning the video, Contact Jon via E-Mail at: jrhuston81@gmail.com.
